These long lasting creosote ( CREO ) fence boards are 1" x 6" x 16' long. Pressure treated with creosote they will stand the test of time and repel fungus and insects. Creosote is used in fencing posts and boards for equestrian fencing. To ensure maximum service life is achieved, the sapwood in the timber must be fully penetrated with creosote.This can only be achieved by means of an industrial process using vacuum and pressure treatment plants. Creosote preserved timber will initially have a dark brown appearance which will weather to a lighter brown after long term sun exposure but will not lose its effectiveness.
